garden, I would have a low faucet
when we built this house, 11 years ago now- how time flies!  I was determined to get a low faucet on the deck, and a metal grid under it instead of the wood decking- I wash vegetables there, gumboots almost daily , feet when necessary,  and the removable grill has proved invaluable when a spring jumps off a machine being taken to pieces on the deck, and is small enough to roll through the cracks.  Grandchildren get suborned to go down the grill hole and search. They may not be so keen on the system!
I would have faucets in a lot more situations than I have- like out at the end of the beds farthest from the house.
