Title: Re: Manfreda undulata
If anyone knows a California source where I can buy Manfreda undulata I would appreciate it you would email me.  My local nursery said they were unable to locate it and a mail order source has a $26 shipping fee for 8 or less plants which is a bit high if one wants one or two plants.

I have some... I believe came from Hawthorne nursery (wholesale) in Fallbrook, California.

I know a source for Manfreda maculosa in Arizona that ships to California -- Mountain States Nursery in Mesa Arizona ships throughout California, though mostly in southern california.  As I recall, they list the nurseries they deliver to on their website.  Go to www.mswn.com.  M. Maculosa has a shorter flower stalk with fragrant flowers with white petals rather than the almost non-existent petals of M. undulata.  The leaves of maculosa, however, have much more distinctive spots.

For fabulous leaves, I would go for maculosa.  For amazing flower stocks, I'd go for undulata

Both plants are awesome!
