According to the local volume of Botanica, S.sinensis is equally hardy
and also sounds very attractive especially as the flowers are said to be
fragrant.
This book also classifies S. Korana as S. pseudocamellia var. Koreana,
the main difference being apparently the wider-open flowers on Korena
plus broader and less silky leaves, so other varieties of pseudocamellia
might also be considered.
