If you're interested in roses, Muriel Humenick runs Rose Acres outside of Diamond Springs.

For both of these small, mom and pop operations, you should call ahead for hours and
specific directions.

If you're near Sacramento on Saturday, 4/17 the Old City Cemetery Rose Garden
is having an open garden with the usual tours and a plant sale table of old and found roses.
The garden itself is pretty well grown in at this point, with some fairly large plants of a wide
variety of old roses. It's not the Huntington, but it's here and entry is free.
