I remember walking through the garden of the Larkin
House (An old Colonial Adobe), that they had three
lemon trees in bloom and fruit. It was so heavenly. I
wasn't more than 20 feet from any of the trees and the
garden was heavily perfumed with that sweet, lemony
scent.

When my Jasminum polyanthum goes into full bloom as it
did weeks ago, on even a cool day the porch is scented
with it's aroma. On warm days it's strong enough to be
smelled 10 feet from the plant.
