Re: identifying plants in photographs

Just to reiterate that it is preferable NOT to send imbedded or attached photos to this list - it can cause some subscribers difficulties. The optimal approach is to load your photos onto some sort of picture server (there are many free servers on the web) and then include links to the pictures on that server. If you need help or have difficulty with this approach, please let me or Diane Whitehead know and we can help you out.

Handsome photos of Tecomaria capensis (the last two) - one of my favorite plants. I look forward to someday again having the space for the yellow flowered form that has a groundcover habit, sending out new stems horizontally, which eventually rise upright to produce some low shrubby growth. The flowers of this form are very clear yellow and quite a nice change from the perennially orange-toned (be they orange, cantaloupe, russet, salmon, etc.) flowers normally found on this species.
