Last word on Boronia megastigma (from me at least)

Generic response to those who commented on this. I think my clone must be OK
as my wife makes me mad by saying "Oh what a wonderful smell from the
Boronia". I am heartened, however, to find that I am not alone in missing
out on the joys of Boronia scent. A bit selfish perhaps, but every little
consolation helps! As the flowers don't stand out that well visually I shall
sulk by not buying it again when the current plant gives up the ghost.

Talking of sulking, this is just about my least favourite time of the garden
year (autumn/fall in New Zealand). The days are getting shorter, the sun has
set by the time I get home from work, the rainfall has increased to two days
out of three on average, it is still warm enough for the weeds to grow, but
cold enough not to need shorts on the sunny days any more, most of the
flowers are finished, the autumn colours haven't really started on the
trees, the perennials are almost at the stage where they have to be cut back
and look really ratty and all the fungi are releasing spores to irritate my
eyes, nose and throat. :-(

Now, keep those nice Spring garden descriptions coming and cheer me up!!!
