Thanks to the wonders of El Nino (enough already!)
the weeds are lush, but quite a few things in the
yard have been inspired to start blooming--despite
the below-normal temps:
Ipheion, Heuchera, Viola, 5 different Oxalis, an
old rose, Vinca minor variegated, African daisy,
Chasmanthe (of course), Justicia brandegeana, Echeveria
agavoides, Salvia leucantha, several hardy mesembs
in the driveway strip, Velthemia, alyssum, and the
Raphiolepsis is just budding up.
