Here in the Northwest, we've had above-average temperatures - it seems you
have gotten all our rain (and about 40% of Indonesia's too...)
For us, this has been one of those "one-in-six" years where things stayed
very mild and many things have popped up early. Fritillaria persica has
been in bloom for over a week, Hermodactylus is long since done. My
Salvia clevelandii and G. maderense are coming along; no blooms yet of
course but normal years they would simply be dead, so who's complaining?
My Coronilla (sp. forgotten) is just starting as well - it's a
red-flowered form; and Lavandula stoechas has its first flower heads
showing. Cistus all have flower buds but not actual blooms yet.
