So would I! I do remember it (at least the ones im talking about) having a
rough deep brown bark that didnt peel away. Its flowers were wonderful
because the whole crown would become scarlet red when it was blooming. It
is messy though, and it dropped copious amounts of its seed capsules and
spent flowers (at least its not good for the patio if you hate sweeping up
messes! ) . I have also never seen any seedlings near these trees at all
either.
