I think I know (sorry not the name tho!) the euc. you are talking about w/the flame red flowers,
I have only seen a few (in downtown Santa Cruz and s. Hicks Road in San Jose) they
are beautiful, my husband and I always admire them when we see them in bloom.
I would be interested to know which gum it is, does anyone know? (i am guessing it is not an
invasive one since i see them so rarely....)
