I have a pale yellow one that is only a bit of a nuisance. It is near a row
of redwoods and only has one 1-gallon dripper (run for 1 1/2 hours once a
week) to get it through the summer. It has been there close to 10 years,
never gets over 3 ft high, and has only spread to 4 ft across. True it
sends out a few root runners, but I just yank them out once or twice a
year. I consider it a very handy, low maintenance small shrub.
