Don't rub it in Barry! We've had a blast from the arctic this week
with as much as 4" of snow in some areas and a return to some pretty
harsh frosts further inland. We've just about escaped it here on the
south coast, but 5C nights and 10C days are not exactly my idea of
pleasant conditions for this time of year. Here's hoping for better
next week. Despite the cold, Bilbergias are pushing out their salmon
spikes with almost indecent haste and Valencia orange is a mass of
flower and embryo fruits.
