Recently we received a message from a contributor to this discussion group
containing an attachment called 'Happy99.exe'. Be warned! This is a virus.
If you receive a message with this attachment, do NOT launch it! (No harm
will come from merely reading the message.) Please notify the sender,
possibly sending him/her a copy of this message.
We believe the virus works like this, that it may attach itself to any
message which you send, without your knowledge. When the receiver launches
it, it does the same there, and so it spreads ... like a virus. We do not
know if it does any other harm. So do not feel guilty if you pass it on,
because you will not know it is there.
We do not know how to deal with the virus, and recommend that you seek
professional advice if you suspect that you have it.
