Some of you have been asking about the previously
announced April MGS meeting at UC Davis. Unfortunately,
this meeting had to be rescheduled for November (more on
that later). But I have been able to setup a replacement
meeting on May 8th, 10:30, at the UC Berk. Botanical garden.
We will have Katherine Greenberg speaking about "The
Gardens of Castile and Andalucia" and their effects upon
gardens in California. Katherine's family has a long
history in this state and once owned adobes in Monterey
county. She also routinely leads tours to Spain to the
gardens she will present to us in her slides.
I am finializing the details of this event. If you wish
to attend, please send me a mailing address and I will send
you the flyer next week. Thanks for all of the interest
in the Mediterranean Garden Society and our growing No.
Calif. group.
