I have *another* query about the bottle tree. When I was wandering
around the net researching Kurrajong/Currajong I noticed that about half
the sites list the species as B.populneum; the other half list it as
B.populneus. I even looked in my two garden encyclopedia's, Taylor's and
Wyman's. Taylor's calls it B.populneum, Wyman says B.populneus! I'm
almost sure that I learned it as B.populneus in plant ID class(approx.
circa 1980). If only I'd studied latin in high school instead of german.
I know there's a rule that would clear this up. Nick Turland, perhaps,
could enlighten?
