Wim - Thomas Ross and Jeff Irons' AUSTRALIAN PLANTS IN CULTIVATION IN
EUROPE gives the fullest and best account both of those acacia spp
which are likely to be hardy in your sort of situation and of those
which are most attractive. It's a substantial hardback volume -
getting on for 300pp - and has lots of v. useful information about
other suitable plants to try.
The easiest way to get details of the cost (it's about £25 sterling
but I'm not sure about postage) - and in fact the easiest way to get a
copy - is to write to Jeff Irons himself at: Stonecourt, 74 Brimstage
Road, Heswall, Wirral, CH60 1XQ.
