Crook-ed Campanulas

Bette - Aged memory-cells blew a few fuses again. Not Clifford CrookS
but H. Clifford Crook, no terminal S. Yes, just called Campanulas.
Published 1951, Country Life in the UK, Scribners in US. Still, IMHO,
the best/most comprehensive thing on the genus (though obviously some
of the nomenclature is less than up to the minute!).  Peter Lewis, who
pops up here from time to time and has a UK Nat Coll of campanulas and
relatives, may have other opinions, however. Peter, are you listening
(and sneering quietly up your sleeve?!)?
