I just recieved my copy of "Lilies: A Guide for
Growers and Collectors" by Edward Austin McRae from
Timber Press (1998).
Aside from the fact that it's sorely lacking in
illustrations, it is a comprehensive, accurate, and
inspiring book. It also has much to say about Lilium
candidum, its forms, and its hybrids. I'll share some
info with you all later, when I have more time.
I'm ready to buy a few acres and start hybridizing
"Mediterranean Lilies"!
