'Angel's Blush' Lychnis

Dear All,

Does anyone have difinitive information about the effect
of temperature on the brightness of the pink blotch in
the center of the flowers of Lychnis coronaria 'Angel's
Blush' or 'Oculata'? (it's rose campion)

Thompson and Morgan seed company says that the pink
center will disappear in warm weather, then a local
garden designer assured me that the pink centers were
more pronounced in warm weather. Has anyone had personal
experience to confirm T & M's statement or its opposite?

Thanks.

Pam Peirce
