Dear Medit subscribers:
A Trojan Horse virus was recently sent in a message with an attachment about new prices, apparently from a member, Jill Randall. The attachment is called new__price.zip
Many of your servers rejected this message, but it got through safely to a lot of you. Don't open this attachment. Delete the message, and also go to your downloaded file where incoming attachments are stored, and delete it from there as well. (This file may have a different name on your computer.)
If you have opened the attachment, and you are running any of these systems, Windows 2000, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows Me, Windows NT, Windows XP
you will need to disinfect your system. Instructions are at:
http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/trojan.startpage.g.html
In the meantime, until you are ready to disinfect your computer, you should disconnect it from the internet so that it doesn't send out virus messages.
