Jim
I have never tried to strike Grevilleas - but I will look in my native
books tonight and see if there are any suggestions there - at least
one of my books, Australian Native Plants by Wrigley and Fagg (a great
book), has a chapter on propagation).

Susan,
I have a Grevillea 'Canberra Gem' here in the UK which has survived all
the recent winters and is clipped back regularly to six feet. It flowers
here from February to November (peak in March), but try as I may, I cannot
get cuttings to strike easily. Got any tips? After four or six months in a
a bottom heated sand bench they usually have developed a callous, but
getting roots is beyond me at the moment.
