Hardy ferns

I just built a small raised bed.  Originally I planned to plant alot of
ornamental grasses in the bed, but the setting really lends itself much
better to planting a selection of hardy ferns.  The light, the drainage,
etc., will be good for ferns.  My concern is wind.  That area can be a
bit of a wind tunnel, especially during winter storms/rains. Are hardy
ferns fairly tolerant of wind?  TIA  Wendy
