They should be fine left that way Nan. As long as they don't get too
cold, you can leave them dry and undisturbed until next spring, when
you should carefully remove the old, stale compost and replace with
fresh. Unless the pot they are in is very small, you can use the same
sized pot for a couple of years - they do seem to appreciate things
being a bit 'tight at the root'.
