I've been lurking around here for a while wondering whether to ask this
or not., so here goes!
After a yucca, agave or any of their relatives bloom out of the center
of their leaf rosette, does that rosette die, slowly or not? And any
subsequent blooming only come from the offsets at the base after they
reach a certain maturity?
If I cut off those rosettes in order to make my plant look more dramatic
in isolation, am I in effect, cutting off my "nose" to make my face more
dramatic? Horrible simile, but you get the pict. :-)
Thanks.
