Does anyone on the list in California grow some of the species peonies
from the Mediterranean basin.  Hard to believe that such as P.broteri and
P.coriacea [both of these from low to moderate elevations in southern
Spain and Morocco] wouldn't do
well in most of the non-desert areas of California...
