Subject: Vitex, various

I've grown both Vitex negundo and V. agnus-castus from seed. They're quite easy, given that I've succeded... In my very dry soil here in eastern San Jose California, both seem to need some summer water. These two species resemble each other, V. negundo is somewhat larger and more tree-like apparently. They are very enjoyable plants. Unfortunately I'm not familiar with V. rotundifolia.
