Michael:
If you are passing through the San Luis Obispo area in
May (specifically the first weekend, the 5th and 6th),
make sure you stop in at the SLO Botanical Garden's
"Garden Festival".
I won't absolutely GUARANTEE that we will have
Dracaena draco or Aloe 'Hercules', but there is a real
good chance of them being available since we will have
the largest collection of vendors of Mediterranean
plants anywhere, selling their wares and whatfors in
the plant sale area. That includes lots of other
aloes.
This is a very large Festival, dedicated to helping in
the development of the San Luis Obispo Botanical
Garden, which is planned to be the largest botanical
garden in California when built. And do note: it will
be Mediterranean themed.
The Garden Festival will be held at El Chorro Regional
Park, halfway between Morro Bay and SLO. Saturday's
hours are 10-6, Sunday 10-4. In additoon to the huge
plant sale, we're planning a "New Plants Pavilion".
