My thanks also to you all for your responses and
experiences with the noble Dragon's Blood Tree. Glenn's advice was very helpful
indeed and has given me the confidence to plant two in the garden. I do know
they grow well and easily from seed, quickly too, unlike the Astelias eh
Tim?
Now another query concerning Aloes.......can Glenn or
anyone give me a link that will help with ID for these? I have grown a number of
tree-type aloes from cuttings from venerable old plants about the place, but
can't ID them with any confidence. Perhaps one of them is the Aloe bainesii of
which Glenn speaks. Sites for Yuccas would also be devoured with pleasure,
perhaps I could visualize the ones Trevor spoke about.
Thanks again.
Margaret.
