Re: duranta hardiness


I have D erecta, the foliage is damaged but recovers after around 1 or 2°C.
Last winter we had a three week period during which it froze nearly every
night, dipping to -8°C on several occasions; the Duranta was cut completely
to the ground but came up from the rootstock in May.  Unfortunately this
meant that it didn't start flowering until mid Sept.
