Has anybody had any experience with this plant (Majorana syriaca). I
acquired some seeds (which have grown well) but was wondering what to
expect. I would especially like to know how much cold it can take.
BTW, the plant seems to have promise for the rock garden. So far, our
one-year-old plants are low mats (+\- 15 cm tall) with small (less than 1
cm) grey leaves on stems that kind of trail (ca. 40 cm wide). The flowers
are quite small and white, not showy. The leaves are pleasently fragrant. I
call it "Syrian oregano."
