Jim,
I haven't seen this species listed as a plant, but seed is frequently
available in rock garden exchanges [I listed it as an alternate choice
for one exchanege], and plants are easily raised if you can get seed,
sometimes managing a flower shoot by the end of the first season. I have
a couple of rather mangy plants [due to holding too long in seed pots],
and these have made it through a couple of relatively mild but wet Oregon
winters.
