Anthony Green asked about means of ridding a place of Oxalis pes-caprae.
The answer is "Roundup". Easy to apply, it works very well on this dreaded
menace. The only place Roundup fails is when the threat is in a lawn.
There, you just have to do it by hand and it takes a lot of time and
patience. Roundup does not have to be sprayed. It can be rubbed on to avoid
collateral damage. Any leafy part will be fine. Or you can dip the top of
strong growing plants into the top of an open bowl containing Roundup. I
have cleaned up significant area by a combinaton of these techniques.
