I think there must be a Sean clone of about six of you otherwise how could
you possibly get it all done with only 24hrs to the day. Congratulations on
getting the Lavandula pages going. It will be very interesting to see how
many people write in with details. Here is a contribution to get the ball
rolling.
L. dentata ‘Linda Lygon’ The variegated lavender, pale green foliage cream
streaked.
L. stoechas ‘Kew Red’ Dense rounded shrub. 50cm. Flowers red, bracts pink,
peduncles short. Very distinctive.
L. x allardii Probably dentata x latifolia. Very large with tall thin
flowering heads on long stalks, that often look rather dead if not trimmed.
Edges of older leaves often broadly toothed.
L. allardii ‘Devantville’Said to be the cultivar frequently seen along the
Mediterranean coast of Spain and France. Size its main recommendation.
