Good to know that the bees are so well mannered all over.
Even better to know that other folks' memories 'work' in the same
(increasingly?) selective way that mine does.
Seems to me this little pit-a--pat leaf-cutting exchange neatly
exemplifies Nan's sentiments about the pleasures of belonging to
Medit-Plants (to which I add my amen) - you learn stuff and have a
chuckle at the same time.

PS Rod and (was it?) Nan: Thanks for the encouraging words re my poor
gum-tree-let. I'll shelter it if we get any more wild weather, keep an
eye open for new growth come the spring - and remember to say the
occasional prayer.
