second vote for the U.C. publication with its companion volume Pests of
Landscape Trees and Shrubs, An Integrated Pest Management Guide. Both may be
available at bookstores or may be ordered through the University of
California, ANR Publications, 6701 San Pablo Avenue, Oakland, CA 94608-1239.
Great pictures of pests, frequently in several stages, nymph to adult.
and a third! This book is our U.C.Master Gardener bible! (in spite of the
things said recently regarding mg's) We wouldn't think of being without
this book when giving plant clinics etc. Mine is in tatters but it goes
with me everywhere.
