Asterotrichion discolor

Anyone on the list - a member in Australia or NZ, perhaps? - have
experience of growing this shrub? Any info on desirability,
conditions, hardiness, likely ultimate size? Yes, I know I should know
all those things before sowing a seed but....well, you know. At least,
I hope you do. 

I'm told it HAS been grown to maturity in the UK but don't know of
anyone who's actually done it. Seedlings here are growing vigorously
thus far - and some deliberately left outside in pots in sheltered
corners have survived light frosts untroubled. Future prognosis?
