Greetings:
I am looking for large shrubs and/or small trees to hide an ugly fence. I am planning to include ceanothus 'Sierra Blue' in the planting as it is apperently more tolerant of heat than other varieties which is important in the Central Valley of California where I am (Davis). Descriptions of Sambucus canadensis 'Aurea' sound lovely as well, however, I haven't been able to find a good photo on any of the garden sites I visit regularly. I am interested in learning more about it's habit and any other information that might be of interest and I would really like to see a planting. I think it's probably quite common, but I'm a novice and may have seen one without knowing what I was looking at!
Thank you in advance for any information or suggestions.
