I have several pots where this has proved an effecive solution. If for any reason you cannot find a plasic pot which fits neatly I have also had success with using a strong plastic sack as a liner. One just needs to amke sure to punch suitable holes in the bottom. Because the plastic will be entirely protected from light (and a prticularly UV) it can last several years.
