To all those who were curious about the pergammon tree...I have new information leading me to believe that it is the Citrus bergamia. The fragrant oil called "bergamot" derived from the peel is used in perfumes and Earl Grey tea. The tree is a natural hybrid of unknown parentage. Karen V./Athens
