Pergammon

I believe in Europe, Citrus medica is often referred to as Pergammon. Not
being
100% sure, I spent 5 minutes doing a web search and came up with nothing.
Anyone
know for sure?

In regards to fragance, I've grown Moon flowers for their blooms but,
despite reports of
wonderful fragance, have never smelled anything (not even on those rare
windless and balmy evenings).
Any other experiences?

Richard
