acorns

I am surrounded with coastal oaks. I have lured squirrels by putting unsalted nuts around the area from time to time. I have stopped feeding them but they have stayed. I used to have hundreds of seedlings, now it is rare as they eat all the acorns! We never had many here before this cycle started. They are constantly scolding me when I am working in the garden.
