Former rosemary hedge

I finally decided to substitute the late rosemary hedge (killed by crown
root gall, for those who did not follow the thread), with Lavandula
Allardii. I was tired of looking at the bare long line, even though my
gardeners planted fava beans for the current season (something you can eat
is always better for my gardeners!).
Will it survive? How many probabilities that the lavenders will catch the
crown root gall? Are they prone or resistant at all?
Thank you for any input,
Alessandra
