No. Calif. Mediterranean Garden Society
Saturday, February 24th, 1:30pm
San Francisco, Alliance Française
Many member of our Branch attended the International
2006 Annual General Meeting of the Society, which was
held at the famous Pont du Gard, hosted by the
Languedoc Branch of the Society in the charming
village of Uzes, France. Come and hear a slide
illustrated recap of this event, including many
gardens not generally open to the public, and learn
what our Society is all about.
Guest speaker Lawrence Lee will also give a
presentation on "Wonderful plants for mediterranean
climate gardens", after which we invite you to stay
and meet members over light refreshments.
This event will take place at the Alliance
Française, the French cultural and educational
center, 1345 Bush Street (between Polk and Larkin).
There are parking lots nearby and public transit
serves the area well.
For more information & directions, visit Alliance
Française's web site: www.afsf.com/contactus.php.
Come early and browse their fabulous French library.
Polk St. is well known for diverse and interesting
restaurants - consider enjoying a lunch or dinner
while you are in the city.
A $10 donation is asked to help defray costs.
