Coprosma robusta

Mine is 12 years old,  ten feet high,very happy except no flowers or lovely fruit.Lovely New Zealand native. It was in some shade up until a year ago. Now it gets sun most of the day. When I planted it, the nursery said it would be at least three years before it bore the fruit. Any ideas?   Bill Grant, central California coast.
