I know that the bulbs of Fritillaria imperialis are supposed to repel moles etc due to thier strong smell; it has recently been suggested to me that this would also make them les susceptible to being eaten by wild boar. This sounds a bit unlikely to me but it would be interesting to know if anyone has any experience of this. And, any other tips for boar resistant plants??
