Thanks for your reply. I've seen this same advice elsewhere (i.e. that
cuttings taken as described "strike readily"), but it so far hasn't panned
out for me. Not sure what I could be doing wrong, but I'll keep trying
different combinations. Anyway, thanks again for the ideas.
