Re: [CH] LIVe Wasabi In Berkley???!!

Has anyone on the medit list seen live wasbi roots?
 I have been after them for years but was told that the Japanese would not
let them out of their country.
A local firm tissue cultures them but sells only to Japan
Would they grow in a warm climate?
