Feijoa sellowiana

I just bought a Feijoa sellowiana and im wondering how fast does it
grow? Space is not the problem  for me. Im wondering would it be useful
as a screen ( i have a 6'foot high fence between my neighbors and my
yard. I hear it can get to almost 30 feet high.
