I got the camera because I admired the results of Diane Kowalski
with her bromeliads. She has sent me a number of pictures of her plants
that are on my web page and she does very well.
I have been learning the hard way, by making lots of mistakes. I
don't know what the shutter speed is and have found that the pictures are
better when I use a tripod.
I am continually amazed at how well it performs in adverse lighting
conditions. It has a built in flash which operates best probably between 6
and 10 feet.
The darwback I haven't solved yet oddly enough is how to handle it
in bright sunlight. My sunny pictures are not what I would like them to be,
probably in part because it is hard to use the viewer (for me at least). It
also does not perform well for me if I'm taking the picture toward the sun
(not directly, but off a bit to one side). It seems to be best in a
quartering view or downsun. But if I take the "same" picture in bright sun
or bright shade, the latter seems to be best for me.
The battery is long lived and rapidly rechargeable. The "film"
is an ordinary floppy disc. It has the capacity to format disks, in the
camera! I'm getting about 20 pictures about 6.6 x 8.8 inches at 72 dpi.

I am enthusiastic about the camera, I find it very useful. I
particularly like the idea that I can take a picture and ten minutes later
it's on the web!

Richard if you or anyone else has any more questions, I'll try to
answer them.

Personally I think this is a legitmate topic for lists such as
this. But if you don't, please use the "delete" key rather than the "send"
key. --Chas--
